Yale Swim & Dive recently welcomed hundreds of alumni back to campus for a weekend celebrating the 125th anniversary of the program. Alumni from all over the country gathered in New Haven to connect with former teammates, meet the current swim team members, and celebrate the life and legacy of Yale’s long-time coach, Frank Keefe.

The weekend kicked off on Friday, April 19th, with ‘Decade Dinners’ at various local restaurants, where alumni reunited with swimmers and divers who graduated during their decade, followed by a late-night celebration at Mory’s.

The following day, attendees gathered for a morning swim practice and facility tour with Swim & Dive’s current head coach, Jim Henry, after which they had the opportunity to view a Yale Archives collection of swimming and diving highlights at the Sterling Library and attend panel discussions. The day wrapped up with an afternoon Olympic medal donation ceremony and celebration of Coach Frank Keefe, followed by an anniversary dinner held at the Union League Cafe to round out the weekend.
