Housing Assignments Coordinator

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Yale Undergraduate Housing, the Housing Assignments Coordinator position will be a 12-month position that provides leadership, direction, and management to the housing assignments area. Program Manager

Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible for securing revenue-generating programs, fortifying client relationships that enhance Yale’s academic and financial mission, and identifying operational solutions that reduce overhead cost while producing greater operational efficiencies. This includes initiating and developing all aspects of a conference, event or program budget, and working with the client to evaluate the appropriate price structure while managing interactions with internal and external service providers. For a full job description and to apply, please click here.
 

Senior Administrative Assistant

Reporting to Executive Director of Yale Conferences and Events, the Senior Administrative Assistant will hold a pivotal role for YC&E and is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and financial support and oversight to the department in a fast-paced, high volume program and event services department. The position will be aware of daily events supported by YC&E, will provide direct support to the YC&E Leadership Team, and coordinate required office services with various other University departments. This position serves as a central function for assisting with all resources and providing general department function information to staff, student employees and seasonal staff. Program Administration

Work closely with a fun and energetic team to support a wide range of Yale programs, conferences, events, and projects. Proven record for superior customer service a plus. Internship credit is available. The Program positions below are part-time from January to May and become full-time from May to August.
 
  • Program Assistant: As a member of the Yale Conferences & Events (YC&E) department and reporting to a YC&E Program Staff member, the Program Assistant (PA) is responsible for supporting a wide range of department programs, conferences, events, and projects both virtually and in person. As support for the YC&E planning team, the PA contributes to short and long-term planning which includes the coordination of all aspects of program management and logistical operations. The PA will assist the Program Staff team with the development and accurate updating of budgets and the final compilation of invoices for existing and future clients. Read full job description and submit an application.
  • Program Marketing Assistant: As a member of the Yale Conferences & Events (YC&E) department and reporting to the Marketing and Communications Director (MCD), the Program Marketing Assistant (PMA) is responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing and communications projects and initiatives for the department. Summer Operations

  • Operations Lead: The Operations Lead (OL) will report to the Office Manager (OM) and work closely with a team of 5 – 7 Operations Leads and other seasonal and full-time staff to coordinate all residential aspects of participants’ arrivals, stays and departures. This includes residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, meal services, billing reports and other logistical needs as necessary, utilizing YC&E’s StarRez database.   • Operations Assistant: As a member of the Yale Conferences & Events (YC&E) department reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations, the Operations Assistant (OA) will work closely with a team of Operations Assistants and other seasonal and full-time staff to coordinate all residential aspects of participants’ arrivals, stays and departures.  This includes residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, meal services, billing reports and other logistical needs as necessary, utilizing YC&E’s StarRez database.   • Operations Coordinator: The Operations Coordinator (OC) will report to the Office Manager (OM). This position will also work closely with a team of OC’s and other seasonal and full-time staff to facilitate the arrival and departure of program participants and staff. The OC serves as a knowledgeable professional and primary asset in the functioning and operation of a 24-hour office. Individuals will be asked to know and understand the workings of colleges and be proficient and adept at addressing daily issues.   • Hospitality Coordinator: The Hospitality Coordinator (HC) will report to the Office Manager (OM). This position will also work closely with a team of HC’s and other seasonal and full-time staff to facilitate the arrival and departure of program participants and staff. The HC will be expected to provide an elevated level of customer service to clients and participants while demonstrating responsiveness and professionalism. The HC serves as a knowledgeable professional and primary asset in the daily operation of a 24-hour office.   • Resource Coordinator: The Resource Coordinator (RC) will report to the Office Manager (OM). This position will also work closely with the Residential Operations Manager and other seasonal and full-time staff to facilitate the arrival and departure of program participants and staff. This includes residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, billing reports and other logistical needs as necessary, utilizing YC&E’s StarRez database, Salesforce, and Trello.
