Financial Assistant
The Financial Assistant supports daily financial operations for assigned units, ensuring compliance with Yale policies. Responsibilities include monitoring and reconciling account activity, researching expenditures, and assisting with budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis. The role also processes cash sales, journal entries, invoices, expense reports, and related compliance documents, contributing to the implementation of financial procedures and project support.

Assistant Office Manager
This position will report to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM) and, as a member of the Operations Team, work closely with YC&E staff to ensure successful implementation of all participants’ on-site operation needs – including, but not limited to, residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, meal services, and classroom assignments. The Assistant Office Manager (AOM) is primarily responsible for assisting with oversite of the YC&E Summer Office and management of the summer staff. This includes managing the front desk and the hospitality team, owning the shared email and Salesforce work, running daily meetings, and mediating staff conflict.
Hospitality Coordinator
The Hospitality Coordinator (HC) will report to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM). This position will also work closely with a team of HCs and other seasonal and full-time staff to facilitate the arrival and departure of program participants and staff. The HC will be expected to provide an elevated level of customer service to clients and participants while demonstrating responsiveness and professionalism. The HC serves as a knowledgeable professional and primary asset in the daily operation of a 24-hour office. Individuals will be asked to know and understand the workings of the Yale Housing front desk operations and utilize Salesforce, StarRez, and Trello management systems.
Operations Lead
The Operations Lead (OL) will report to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM) and work closely with a team of 5 – 7 Operations Leads and other seasonal and full-time staff to coordinate all residential aspects of participants’ arrivals, stays and departures. This includes residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, meal services, billing reports and other logistical needs as necessary, utilizing Yale Housing’s StarRez database. The Operations Lead is responsible for the successful operation of multiple programs in many residential colleges and will assist with staff management.
Operations Assistant
Reporting to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM), the Operations Assistant (OA) will work closely with a team of Operations Assistants and other seasonal and full-time staff to coordinate all residential aspects of participants’ arrivals, stays and departures. This includes residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, billing reports and other logistical needs as necessary, utilizing the StarRez Housing database.
Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator (OC) will report to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM). This position will work closely with a team of OC’s and other seasonal and full-time staff to facilitate the arrival and departure of program participants and staff. The OC serves as a knowledgeable professional and primary asset in the functioning and operation of a 24-hour office. Individuals will be asked to know and understand the workings of colleges and be proficient and adept at addressing daily issues.
Residential Assistant
The Residential Assistant (RA) will report to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM) and work closely with a team of 5 – 6 Residential Assistants, Operations Leads, Operations Coordinators, Yale Housing, YC&E Staff, and C&E interns. The Residential Assistant is responsible for the global evening oversight and indirect supervision of programs within residential spaces during summer months.
Resource Coordinator
The Resource Coordinator (RC) will report to the Assistant Residential Operations Manager (AROM). This position will also work closely with the Residential Operations Manager and other seasonal and full-time staff to facilitate the arrival and departure of program participants and staff. This includes residential assignments, facility coordination, custodial services, billing reports and other logistical needs as necessary, utilizing Housing’s StarRez database, Salesforce, and Trello.
