YC&E partners with United Way for community grocery distribution

YC&E seized the opportunity to give back to the community this month by volunteering with the United Way of Greater New Haven for a school break groceries distribution. Our team helped pack 1,200 grocery bags of fresh, healthy meals that were distributed to families across four different New Haven Public School sites.

Yale event professionals gather at Peabody Museum for COL networking event

We kicked off the new academic year by networking with fellow event professionals at the Community of Learners (COL) event, held at the newly renovated Yale Peabody Museum. Event planners from across the university explored the museum’s event spaces and learned about their booking process.

We are pleased to announce that Khalil Mumtaz has joined the YC&E team as our newest intern! Since starting with our summer operations office in 2022, Khalil has moved up from an operations and hospitality coordinator to operations lead. His dedication has been essential to our operations, and we are excited to see him bring his skills to our event planning team.

This event attracted a diverse audience of innovators, investors, and industry professionals, offering them a dynamic platform for engagement through panels, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities. 

Global Experts Gather at Yale for Major Baltic Studies Conference

Hundreds of scholars and experts dedicated to Baltic studies convened at Yale University from June 13 to June 16 for the 29th biennial conference of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS). This year’s conference, co-hosted by Yale University and the University of New Haven, featured a broad array of panels spanning the humanities, social sciences, education, technology, and transnational security, emphasizing the Baltic region’s role in European and global contexts.
