YC&E additionally oversees and optimizes dedicated conference spaces on campus, ensuring seamless operation.
Through strategic event planning and program execution, YC&E not only generates substantial net revenue for the University but also effectively mitigates risks while harmonizing facility usage with overarching Yale objectives. Key Initiatives in Event Management
Yale Conferences & Events continues to advance its leadership role in the events industry through two significant initiatives.
Community of Learners for Event Professionals (COL) at Yale
YC&E also leads the Community of Learners for Event Professionals (COL) at Yale University, a group that connects event planners across the university. COL provides a platform for sharing knowledge, establishing protocols, educating staff, enacting change, and sharing resources (SEEES). The group’s mission is to support Yale staff and faculty in delivering high-quality events by offering guidance, tools, and a collaborative community. Learn more.
Connecticut Colleges & Universities Consortium for Event Professionals
YC&E has partnered with Wesleyan University’s Office of Reservations & Conferences to establish the Connecticut Colleges & Universities Consortium for Event Professionals. This consortium brings together event professionals from higher education institutions across Connecticut to collaborate, share knowledge, and improve campus event management. The consortium aims to serve as a resource for best practices and innovative approaches in event planning. Learn more.
