Yale University has always been synonymous with academic excellence and the Bulldog Days event is a celebration of this proud tradition. From April 23-26, 2023, Yale welcomed the new generation of Bulldogs with open arms and an exciting lineup of events. Our Yale Conferences & Events team was honored to once again assist with this unforgettable experience for students.
As one of the largest campus-wide events at Yale, Bulldog Days has become a highly anticipated event among newly admitted students. Over the course of three days, students were treated to a variety of activities that took place all over Yale’s campus. The newly admitted Yale students got an opportunity to explore different classrooms and centers such as the Schwarzman Center, Shubert Theatre, and the Yale Science Building. These venues are not only a hallmark of Yale’s rich history but also a reflection of its commitment to cutting-edge research and innovation.
One of the highlights of Bulldog Days is the student showcase which features an eclectic mix of student groups such as the Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective, Taps, and Whiffenpoofs. These groups not only showcase their musical talent but also offer a glimpse into the diverse student life at Yale.
To provide incoming students with an authentic Yale experience, current Yale students hosted them on campus. This allowed new students to experience the excitement of living at Yale, explore the dorms, and learn more about the social life on campus.
And what better way to experience the local culture than through food! The New Haven Pizza Party was a huge hit among students, featuring over 400 pizzas from eight of New Haven’s best pizza restaurants. This not only gave students a taste of New Haven but also provided a platform for them to mingle and get to know each other better.
Bulldog Days at Yale University is an event like no other. It not only offers new students a chance to explore the campus and the local culture but also showcases the vibrant student life at Yale. Our campus partners all did a fantastic job organizing the event, making it one of the most successful Bulldog Days yet!

- Classroom and specialty space reservations
- Securing event staff
- Booking 7 food trucks, catering with Yale Hospitality, and hydration stations
- Obtaining rentals & tents
- Supplying campus wide access to attendees
- Reserving AV photo booths
- Organizing Handsome Dan appearances
- Collaborating with facilities
- Setting up parking with city of New Haven
- Working with Yale police, security, fire
- Creating event sinage
- Booking and organizing shuttles
