Researching and visualizing the brain at the international rtFIN meeting

Thursday, October 27, 2022

After a few years of pandemic isolation, the Real-Time Functional Imaging and Neurofeedback meeting (rt-FIN) returned with an in-person conference earlier this month. YC&E enjoyed working with the organizers to host participants from across the global for this meeting of the minds!

The rtFIN conference was started in 2012 in Zurich, Switzerland by James Sulzer and Roger Gassert. Since then, it has developed into an international meeting held biennially at international locations including Gainesville (Florida, USA), Nara (Japan), and Maastricht/Aachen (Netherlands/Germany).

The meeting is focused on real-time functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) neurofeedback research, and also includes related research topics such as neurofeedback in other modalities (EEG/fNIRS), brain-computer interfaces, and novel applications of real-time fMRI.
