Julianne Minuto

Event Planner

Julianne Minuto joins Yale Conferences & Events as an Event Planner. Originally from Middletown, CT, Julianne has lived in Boston and New York, but is happy to be back putting down roots closer to home. She brings multi-sectoral professional experience to Yale—from working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Treasurer’s Office, to supporting C-suite executives at hedge funds in Boston and Manhattan, to her nine-year stint at Harvard Law School’s Alumni Center and Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, where she planned a wide variety of academic, VIP, alumni, student, and community events. Julianne’s calling is bringing people together, usually over a great meal. When she’s not planning events in a professional capacity, she is hosting dinner parties, family gatherings, and reunions for her high school and college classmates. Julianne holds a BA in Political Science and a minor in Italian Studies from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA; she earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Julianne loves adventurous cooking projects, travel, historic architecture, and interior design. Her event design style highlights the natural or built-in assets of a venue. She enjoys creating a cohesive experience in terms of event purpose, layout, catering, décor, and music. Relatedly, Julianne has worked part-time jobs in retail sales at Le Creuset in Boston and as a server, prep cook, and grill cook at a Long Island-based catering company servicing private events in The Hamptons. She and her husband own Crated Records, a pop-up and online vinyl record shop. They appear at tri-state area festivals, craft fairs, and breweries on select Saturdays and Sundays. They were accepted into and appeared at the Brooklyn Flea Record Fair in the fall of 2023 and have a monthly residency at Brooklyn Brewery.  Julianne handles booking, branding, and booth design for the company, of course!
