Summer Institute for the Gifted

The Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) is a program of the AIFS Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. At Yale, SIG offers a 3-week summer academic program for gifted and academically talented students ages 13-17. At SIG students enroll in 4 classes from the subject areas of STEAM, arts, and recreation. The class options offered cover interesting topics such as biopsychology, medical microbiology, astrophysics, quantum mechanics, podcast production, graphic design, fencing, and many more! SIG at Yale University is a Residential Program with a day commuter and day-evening-Saturday commuter options.

Yale Young Global Scholars

Yale Young Global Scholars is a two-week summer enrichment program for outstanding high school students from around the world. Participants can expect an amazing summer experience studying in beautiful campus lecture halls and classrooms, living at Yale’s Old Campus, eating in award-winning dining halls, meeting a talented community of fellow students, and engaging with world-renowned professors. To learn more about the Yale Young Global Scholars Program, please visit http://globalscholars.yale.edu

  • 3 Seminar Rooms with seating capacity ranging from 12 to about 22 people
  • 2 Large Lecture Halls with seating capacities of 49 and 275 people
