The Summer Institute for the Gifted is a program of the AIFS Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. At Yale, SIG offers a 3-week summer academic program for gifted and academically talented students ages 13-17. At SIG students enroll in 4 classes from the subject areas of STEAM, arts, and recreation. The class options offered cover interesting topics such as biopsychology, medical microbiology, astrophysics, quantum mechanics, podcast production, graphic design, fencing, and many more! SIG at Yale University is a Residential Program with a day commuter and day-evening-Saturday commuter options.
