A very special (and adorable) guest stopped by our staff meeting recently: Heidi the service dog! Along with her partner, Yale Police Officer Rich Simons, Heidi visited our staff to put smiles on our faces and discuss her role within our community. During their visit, we learned that Heidi is a graduate of Puppies Behind Bars (PBB), which trains prison inmates to raise service dogs for veterans, first responders, and law enforcement. We also learned that Heidi’s bestie is no other than Yale’s big dog on campus, Handsome Dan!
