Director’s Note

Hello friends,

There is a special kind of energy on campus this October as Yale comes alive with vibrant foliage and a full calendar of events.

I am proud to share that I have joined the core committee of the United Way of Greater New Haven. To learn more about my role and the important work this organization is doing within our local communities and how you can help, see the article below.

YC&E is also growing! We are currently hiring for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team. If you or someone you know is passionate about supporting events and operations at Yale, please visit our employment page for full details.

In other news, Yale Public Safety has introduced a more formalized process for requesting event support. Event organizers should review the updated guidelines and submission requirements. See below for more information.

Finally, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to Geoff Chatas, who will officially join Yale as Senior Vice President for Operations on November 1. We look forward to his leadership and the continued strengthening of Yale’s operational excellence under his guidance.

Wishing you all a safe, fun, and festive Halloween! 🎃

Best wishes,

Jennifer Zuccaro
