Director’s Note

Hello friends,

Summer is well underway here at Yale, and with it has come some very warm weather. Be sure to stay cool and take care in the heat!

We have several exciting updates to share this month. Please join us in congratulating Daniela Czerwinski on 15 years at Yale, and in welcoming Maddison Willauer back to YC&E as our new Senior Manager of Events. We’re also proud to celebrate Linda Torres, who received an award at this year’s Yale Central Finance Summer Outing. Be sure to read below for more details on these milestones.

In other news, the Greenberg Conference Center and Betts House have been jointly nominated for Unique Venues’ Best Academic Venue award. We’re listed in Category #1, and your vote would mean a lot! Voting closes August 1.

We’ll be taking a break from the newsletter in July, but we’ll be back in August with more updates. Wishing you all a happy and safe 4th of July!
