Director’s Note
Hi Friends,
As we transition into a new academic year, we want to thank our campus partners and summer staff for a great comeback summer! We also want to thank our summer clients who successfully collaborated with YC&E to navigate on campus operations and services. It was a pleasure having you with us!
Faculty, staff, and students are now back on campus (hooray!) and many have already held events and opening year celebrations. As a reminder, guidance on hosting Yale events, gatherings, and meetings can be found here.
It’s no surprise that YC&E is seeing a decreased number of virtual and hybrid events taking place, while the demand for in-person events is climbing. Outdoor events are still as popular as ever, with more venue choices both on and off campus.
Unsure what meeting type best fits your needs? Check out this article and then send us a message for more guidance! If you are faculty or staff looking to travel, please don’t forget to review Yale’s travel policy.
I hope that you enjoy September and all this month has to offer, including fall fairs and extended summer plans. As Labor day fast approaches, take time to rest and celebrate all the hard work you and your colleagues do!
Stay well,
Suzanne
