Daniela is an accomplished Marketing and Communications Director with extensive experience in strategic leadership. With a background in marketing communications and advertising, she has excelled in various roles over the past 14+ years, including her most recent position at the Yale Office of International Affairs.
Before joining Yale, Daniela made significant contributions at companies like the Royal Bank of Scotland, Lego Systems, Inc., and Robinson & Cole. She holds a B.S. in marketing communications and advertising (cum laude) as well as an M.B.A. from Western New England University.
At YC&E, Daniela thrives on managing diverse projects and collaborating with individuals across campus. Originally from Ecuador, she is fluent in Spanish and values empathy, acceptance, and calmness in her approach. Outside of work, Daniela enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, and exploring new cuisines. She cherishes quality time with loved ones and has a particular fondness for New Haven-style pizza. One of her aspirations is to visit and experience the beauty of Bora Bora alongside her husband and daughter.
