Over the past month, we have enjoyed several opportunities to come together, connect, and recharge as a team. Here is a look back at some of the moments that made this season especially meaningful.
Highlights from recent YC&E team gatherings
Fall Foliage Open House
On October 28, we hosted our fellow Kline Tower neighbors on the 14th floor for a festive fall celebration. With sweeping views of peak foliage, warm apple cider, and seasonal treats, it was the perfect midweek break and a great opportunity to connect with colleagues across departments.
Staff Retreat
Our full-time staff gathered on October 30 at Sterling Memorial Library for a full day of programming centered on reflection, goal setting, and collaboration. We celebrated our 2025 milestones, mapped out priorities for 2026, and closed the day with a reception at Mory’s. It was a meaningful chance to step away from daily routines and strengthen relationships in one of Yale’s most iconic settings.
Betts House Open House
We were delighted to host our neighbors from the Office of International Affairs and Yale Young Global Scholars at the Betts House. This casual gathering gave us a chance to connect, build community, and celebrate the partnerships that make our shared workspace so special.
Cookie Swap
We are gearing up for our annual YC&E cookie swap, complete with fun categories like “Best Non-Homemade” and “Best Decorated.” This year we will also be creating a recipe book featuring all submissions. Be sure to follow us on social media to see the highlights!
