Thursday, May 29, 2025

On May 6, 2025, Yale School of Medicine (YSM) hosted its annual Student Research Day (SRD), celebrating the research achievements of its students and the dedication of their mentors. The event featured over 75 poster presentations from students across various programs, including MD, MD-PhD, MD-MHS, Physician Associate, and Nursing. A highlight of the day was the Jill and Lee Goldman, MD ’73 Plenary Scientific Session, where five graduating students presented their MD theses on topics ranging from pancreatic cancer risk to the effects of ketogenic diets on glymphatic function.

The day also honored exceptional mentorship with the presentation of the John N. Forrest Jr., MD Prize for Mentorship in Student Research to Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, recognizing his commitment to guiding the next generation of physician-scientists.

Yale Conferences & Events was proud to support SRD by managing :

  • Full-service catering for lunch and snacks, including a hot donut bar
