University leaders and state and local features gathered on Yale’s campus on September 30th for a ceremonial groundbreaking of the new Upper Science Hill Building Complex, a 16-acre development project slated to propel Yale’s leadership in quantum science and promote advanced scientific research and sustainability.
The ceremony took place at the site of the new Physical Sciences and Engineering Building — the crown jewel of the new Upper Science Hill Building Complex — and was followed by a reception at Kline 14.
Attendees included senior Yale officials and state and local leaders. Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker, and University of Connecticut President Radenka Marić were present for this inspiring event.
