YC&E was honored to support the Windham Campbell Prizes Festival for the third consecutive year. This year’s festival, held from September 17th to 20th, celebrated eight exceptional writers from around the world with four days of exciting programming. Prizes were awarded across four categories: drama, fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
The multi-day literary festival offered a robust lineup of free public events, including thought-provoking lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and performances from this year’s prize recipients. The celebration began with a lively welcome party on Cross Campus, complete with a live DJ, food trucks, and opportunities to mingle with the honorees. Throughout the event, attendees engaged with the prizewinners in conversations that explored diverse topics in literature, celebrating the power of the written word alongside the New Haven community.
