CircuitQED@20: Physicists Celebrate 20th Anniversary of Quantum Research
YC&E had the pleasure of assisting with the CircuitQED@20 conference from January 10th to January 12th. This three day conference drew over 300 physicists from around the globe to Yale for a celebration of the past 20 years of findings in circuit quantum electrodynamics. Along with the conference programming, 45 attendees presented scientific posters detailing new research conducted, in part, thanks to the findings in these publications.

Our staff worked closely with the conference’s chief organizer, Florian Carle, to ensure a seamless experience for attendees and speakers alike. Sessions were held in the Yale Science Building Marsh Auditorium, and a private dinner at Kline 14 tower was held in honor of this 20-year anniversary as well as the birthday of Yale’s R. J. Schoelkopf, one of the major authors behind these two papers. Dinner guests were treated to a custom ‘molecular gastronomy’ menu courtesy of Yale Catering, live music, and more!
Special thanks to our campus partners that assisted with this event, including Facilities, Media Services, and Yale Catering.
This event was supported by the Yale Quantum Institute and the Sigma Xi Fund at Yale.
