Senior Administrative Assistant

As a Senior Administrative Assistant, Vanessa provides front-of-house customer service support through email and phone inquiries. She also offers administrative and financial support to the team for their events, conferences, projects, and summer programs.

Previously, Vanessa interned at YC&E where she gained experience with event planning tasks, ensuring smooth operations. Her background in customer service has helped develop her organizational and multitasking skills, allowing her to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Vanessa holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Northwestern Connecticut Community College and a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a minor in Marketing at Southern Connecticut State University. Originally from Colombia, she moved to the U.S. in 2021 to continue her education and career.

Outside work, she loves spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants and coffee shops. Vanessa is excited to see where her future goes and dreams of one day opening her own coffee shop.
