As Associate Director of Program Operations, Tara directs the program operations unit within YC&E. This includes but is not limited to managing and directing all USP unit collaborations and summer needs. Tara directs, cultivates and develops beneficial relationships and collaborations with internal and external service providers. As a senior member of the leadership team, she also develops ideas and strategies for streamlining summer operations and collaborates heavily with Yale Housing. In this position, she proactively engage directors, faculty, staff, and local officials, along with internal and external service providers. In conjunction with the Director, the ADPO also strategizes for new growth, opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
Tara has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Southern Connecticut State University and has been with YC&E since January 2008. Tara’s favorite thing about working for YC&E is the people. She describes herself as funny, caring, and hardworking. In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband, son, & extended family.
