Kayla Finkle serves as an intern for YC&E’s Events team, where she is gaining hands-on experience in event planning and management. She works closely with clients and team members to ensure the smooth execution of various events. This role has provided Kayla with valuable insights into both the logistical and promotional aspects of event management, allowing her to continue developing her skills in the field.
Kayla brings valuable experience to her role from six years in the hospitality industry, having worked at venues such as The Gelston House, Saybrook Point Inn, and Wildcat. She has also volunteered for the Travelers Championship, where she helped assist and organize volunteer efforts.
Born and raised in Middletown, CT, Kayla is a senior at Quinnipiac University pursuing her Bachelor’s. She currently holds executive board positions at Quinnipiac as PR Director of Cards for Care and VP & Publicity Chair for the QU Rock Climbing Club. Her passion for creating meaningful experiences drives her interest in event management and hospitality.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and traveling.
