Venue Operations Coordinator

As the Venue Operations Coordinator, Joe is responsible for ensuring outstanding experiences for the guests and staff at our YC&E-managed venues. He provides high levels of customer service to our guests and clients while overseeing the day-to-day operations at our venues. Joe supports all aspects of event functions such as opening and closing the spaces, overseeing room set-ups, interacting with our contracted vendors, and communicating with clients and guests to ensure the event meets Yale’s standard of excellence.

Prior to his role with YC&E, Joe worked with the Purchase College Association at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY. Joe managed The More Store and held the role of ordering student and faculty regalia as well as managing and organizing a two-day regalia distribution event while working closely with various campus departments. Joe also grew up working for his family-owned catering company, coordinating all aspects of events hosting 10 to 7,000 attendees.  Joe received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in 2006.

In Joe’s free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and coach his two boys’ baseball teams.  His biggest reward of coaching is being able to teach them the values and lessons that he learned while playing baseball growing up. Joe is excited to immerse himself in the beauty and culture of Yale’s campus.
