As a Conferences and Events intern, Esmeralda Lozano supports the YC&E Events team in coordinating the wide range of programs, conferences, and gatherings hosted across Yale’s campus. She brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to her work and enjoys contributing to the welcoming, seamless experiences that YC&E provides for its clients and guests.
Esmeralda is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology at Yale University. She plans to attend law school with the goal of building a career in human rights and immigration law. Her background includes extensive experience in customer service, event planning, and communications through roles as a hostess, communications director, and student leader. These experiences have strengthened her organization, communication, and leadership skills, which she applies in her work with YC&E.
Originally from El Salvador and now based in California, Esmeralda has a deep appreciation for food, film, the beach, and the outdoors. She enjoys spending time withfriends and family, meeting new people, and embracing new experiences. Esmeralda is excited to collaborate with the YC&E team and looks forward to the opportunities ahead through this internship.
