As a Technology Intern, Charles Kendee supports the YC&E A/V Team with managing end-to-end audio-visual logistics for a diverse range of events in a variety of locations. Charles is responsible for assisting with hardware configuration, network troubleshooting, and live support on platforms like Zoom. He exhibits a calm, detail-oriented approach under pressure and enjoys bridging the gap between technical systems and their users.
Charles is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Yale University. Charles draws on a background in software development and previous experience in IT operations to troubleshoot and deploy various hardware and software solutions. By combining technical rigor with strong communication skills, he effectively serves as a liaison between YC&E clients and technology to deliver seamless user experiences.
Charles is from Denver, Colorado and brings a disciplined yet creative energy to the Yale community. An avid audiophile, he listens to at least one new album per week and maintains an extensive collection of rare and special edition vinyl records. This passion for high-fidelity sound fuels his enthusiasm for mastering advanced A/V equipment at YC&E, where he constantly seeks to translate his love for technology into a tangible, positive impact for others.
