Director’s Note

Dear friends,

As the academic year draws to a close, we are excitedly looking forward to the upcoming celebrations that come with commencement and reunions at Yale. The energy on campus is palpable, and we can’t wait to welcome students, parents, and alumni to partake in the festivities. On behalf of the entire team at Yale Conferences & Events, I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates and their families!

We are also thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the largest number of summer programs since 2019, with over 50 program sessions ranging from STEM and leadership development to language immersion and creative arts. More than 8,000 people from around the world will be joining us on campus to participate in these activities, creating a vibrant and bustling environment that also supports the local businesses.

As the weather gets warmer, we are looking forward to more outdoor events. If you’re planning an event and looking for the perfect outdoor venue, look no further than the Greenberg Conference Center’s beautiful tent situated on the serene Farnam Gardens. The tent is incredibly versatile and can accommodate a wide range of events, including staff retreats, social receptions, and luncheons. See below for more information.

Whatever your plans are, we hope you get to take advantage of these beautiful spring days and enjoy the outdoors!

With warm regards,

A special message from the Yale Chaplain’s office on religious observances

Each semester the Yale University Chaplain’s Office sends a message to faculty and staff with information about upcoming religious observances throughout the term. The calendar is also available on the Chaplain’s website and includes the community that observes the holiday and if there are work, dietary, or other restrictions that could prohibit members of the community from fully participating in your event. When possible, events should not be scheduled on a religious holiday. If your event is planned for a religious holiday and you have questions you can contact the Chaplain’s Office for more information on how to accommodate all guests.
