About Us

Experience the Yale Legacy

Yale Conferences & Events (YC&E) is the optimal starting point for organizing and hosting events on Yale’s campus. We offer a wide range of creative, administrative, and logistical services to facilitate the successful execution of your program, conference or event through every step of planning and implementation.

Our department is certified as a “One Stop Shop” by the Association of Collegiate Conferences and Events Directors – International (ACCED-I), meaning we uphold the highest standards of efficient and effective event planning. Through just one contact, one contract, and one bill, we provide you with access to all Yale has to offer. If your program or conference takes place during the summer months, YC&E can also coordinate summer housing in various campus locales.

While you focus on developing your vision, our dedicated full-time planning team works behind the scenes to register participants, reserve venues, arrange travel, and manage services with other resource providers at Yale, in New Haven, and beyond. Whether your function includes a group of 10 or 2,500 people, we invite you to experience the Yale legacy for yourself.

Linda K. Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service, 2020 Recipients

Six Yale Conferences & Events team members recently received the 2020 Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service in recognition of their hard work in assisting the university with first responder housing. The award recognizes staff members who exemplify Yale’s spirit of leadership, innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Checklist for Event Planners

Yale Conferences & Events is in the business of bringing people together and creating memorable experiences. Our goal is to make events successful for the client, and perhaps transformative experiences for everyone in attendance.

Over the years, we have witnessed the evolution of events, where we sat in uncomfortable chairs for hours while straining to see presentations, to events where we account for all accessibility needs, and more.

It is critical that we ensure that all our events are inclusive on every level, intentionally, and by design. As planners and hosts, it is our responsibility to ensure that every attendee feels welcome and has equal access to everything the event has to offer. By optimizing an individual’s experience based on their specific needs, we create an environment where we all belong.

Please consider this DEI Checklist for Event Planners, created by our YC&E team, when planning your next meeting or event.
