Director’s Note

Dear friends,

Spring has finally arrived, and with it, the promise of warmer weather and longer days on campus.

I am excited to share that Kline 14 was recently featured in the Yale Alumni Magazine, showcasing the exceptional work of our team and the impact of our events.

As we shift our focus to the upcoming summer months, we’re gearing up for a bustling season. This involves assisting with preparations for commencement, reunions, and summer programs, all with the aim of creating memorable experiences for our Yale community.

Recently, some of us attended the 44th annual ACCED-I conference in Providence, RI, where I had the honor of presenting with Marje Lemmon, Yale Director of Risk Management and our colleagues from Santa Clara University.  This experience was invaluable for our professional development, reinforcing our commitment to growth and knowledge-sharing within our field.

In line with our dedication to collaboration, we’ve partnered with Wesleyan University to launch the Connecticut Colleges & Universities Consortium for Event Professionals, fostering a supportive network for innovation and learning. Read more about this collaboration below.

On a more personal note, our team recently volunteered together at the Diaper Bank of CT, highlighting the importance of giving back to our community.

As we look ahead, let’s continue approaching our work with enthusiasm, dedication, and collaboration.

Best regards,

Jen Zuccaro
