It is incredible to look back on our pre-pandemic team and see how much we have grown and evolved. We are now proud and excited to announce a large “reorganization” effort within our team, where we have redefined staff roles to encompass everything we have learned and accomplished!

Summer 2022 is officially here so be sure to get outside and enjoy all that it has to offer. From Fourth of July fireworks and live music, to food truck festivals and dragon boat races, there is something for everyone.
Celebrating the Class of 2022
After wrapping up the Yale Alumni Ceremony, which celebrated graduates from the class of 2020, the university dove right into Commencement to honor the class of 2022 last month. YC&E was on the ground once again assisting with this joyous event. We truly enjoyed seeing the graduate’s creative caps, listening to Reshma Saujani’s insightful speech, and watching family and friends cheering on their loved ones. Congratulations to the class of 2022!

Kicking off Summer at Yale
YC&E kicked off our official start of summer with a staff celebration recently. We enjoyed pizza and drinks from the Big Green Pizza Truck and the Beverage Truck and then took part in a bit of friendly competition with the Best Trivia Ever company. With an enhanced sense of comradery, we are ready to welcome summer with open arms!

Please help us welcome Caitlin Slattery and Jennifer Cataldi to our team! Caitlin is our new Housing Administrator and comes to us from Yale College Student Affairs, where she was the Assistant Director. We are very fortunate to have Caitlin supporting our housing operations! Jennifer is the Program Assistant for Marketing and Communication and is assisting our team with both program development/execution and marketing projects.

Celebrating the Class of 2020 in Person

Our Yale Conferences & Events team had the honor this past weekend of assisting with the Yale Alumni Ceremony, an in-person ceremony honoring the Class of 2020, which was not able to receive a proper commencement due to the pandemic. This event reminded us how rewarding our jobs can be! It can be hard to take a moment when you are quickly moving from one project to the next, but during the Alumni Ceremony we had a moment to stop and feel the sense of community that made this day happen.
