Thursday, September 29, 2022

Presented by Yale University’s Black Sound and the Archive Working Group, Flowin’: A Conference in Celebration of Farah Jasmine Griffin took place on campus September 23-24, 2022. YC&E assisted with this important conference and we enjoyed working with everyone involved!

Farwell to our PA Lily

Our amazing PA Lily recently got a new position at Fairfield University’s office of conferences and event services as their program coordinator! She will be responsible for providing event management support for programs produced and/or supported by the Office of Conference & Event Management. Her responsibilities include evaluating program needs, coordinating event logistics related to contracts, work orders, media, catering, facilities and event staff support. She will be working with their summer clients just like she has done here at YC&E!

Welcoming Students Back!

The Class of 2026 is an accomplished and diverse group that represents 51 U.S. states and territories and 55 foreign countries. They will be joined by 24 new transfer students and a record-setting 23 new adult students matriculating through the Eli Whitney Students Program, a program for nontraditional undergraduates. Among the new students are 13 U.S. military veterans and 21 students who were most recently enrolled at a community college.

Thank You to our Summer Staff

YC&E wanted to give a huge thank you to our summer staff for an outstanding job this year navigating the summer programs. From assisting in reunion weekends,  to check-ins and outs and loads of activities, you kept the summer what it was meant to be, fun! We couldn’t have done it without you! We wish you all the best on your endeavors for years to come!
