Linda Torres
Financial Assistant
Before joining us at YC&E, Linda was an Administrative Assistant for Yale’s New Haven Hiring Initiative within Human Resources, where she supported a small team dedicated to helping New Haven residents land a role at Yale. She graduated from the University of Connecticut, and was also a New Haven Promise Finance intern at the Yale School of Medicine.
Favorite New Haven Restaurant: Modern Apizza
Favorite Pastime: Watching Netflix and playing games on Nintendo Switch
Linda is most excited about joining our team because of the people! She notes that in her short time here, she’s already met a wonderful and welcoming team.

Steve Magro
Building Technology Manager
Prior to his new role with YC&E, Steve worked at Northeastern Illinois University, where he managed event, conference, and theatre technology across three different campuses. Steve has experience managing the audio visual technology for a wide range of events - everything from musical performances and dance recitals to city mayoral debates!
Favorite New Haven Restaurant: Modern Apizza
Favorite Pastime: Steve enjoys spending his free time trying to experience new things, whether that is traveling to a different country, or more realistically, traveling to the newest restaurant nearby.
Steve is most excited for the new and exciting people and groups that he will have the opportunity to meet and work with at YC&E.
