We are thrilled to welcome our 2024 class of Conferences & Events interns to YC&E! Their energy and motivation will undoubtedly make an impact on our upcoming projects. We look forward to seeing the amazing ideas they bring to the table. Keep reading to get to know them!


	Callie Fusco Hometown: West Haven, CT University: Southern Connecticut State University Previous Work Experience: Before joining YC&E, Callie was a Development Intern at New Haven Symphony Orchestra where she helped plan post-concert receptions for their Music Director Search and assisted with grant writing and fundraising. She is currently a Student Worker for Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Business, where she helps support university events and works on ways to get students involved in new initiatives through class visits and events. Favorite Pastime: Going out with family and friends! Callie is excited to be able to explore the Yale campus while working with YC&E and learn more about the behind the scenes of planning and executing a great event.

	Alex Guzhnay Hometown: New Haven, CT University: Yale University Previous Work Experience: Before joining our team, Alex served as the Ward 1 Alder for the city of New Haven. Favorite Pastime: Biking around New Haven! Alex is looking forward to getting to know all the wonderful people at YC&E as well as those who come to Yale for their events/programs.

	Nicholas Johnson Hometown: Canton, CT University: Central Connecticut State University Previous Work Experience: Before coming to Yale Conferences & Events, Nicholas spent two years working at Starbucks. He was a Barista trainer and was awarded Partner of the Quarter. Favorite Pastimes: Working out, running and reading Nicholas is most excited about getting his foot in the business world and using his knowledge from school in real life as a YC&E Intern.

	Rachel Kenyon Hometown: Lancaster, NY University: University of New Haven Previous Work Experience: Before coming to YC&E, Rachel worked as both a Student Assistant and a Classroom & Event Technology Specialist at Daemen University in Amherst, NY. Favorite Pastime: Playing guitar Rachel is excited to work with the excellent team at YC&E and to gain experience and knowledge in the events industry.

	Lillian Putorti Hometown: Hudson Valley, NY University: Central Connecticut State University Previous Work Experience: In addition to working with YC&E, Lillian is a marketing team member for CCSU Dining, where she assists with digital design projects. Favorite Pastimes: Interior design, travel, and snowboarding Lillian is looking forward to the knowledge she will gain from working for Yale University, and is excited to explore more of Yale and its beautiful campus while meeting new people who share the same interests as her.

	Joseph Ringuette Hometown: Colchester, CT University: Central Connecticut State University Previous Work Experience: Before interning at YC&E, Joseph was a Brand Representative and Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch. Favorite Pastime: Baking Joseph is most excited to gain professional experience in the event planning arena during his time with YC&E.
