Now is the perfect time to experience Yale’s breathtaking collections and brand new exhibits in person! The Yale University Art Gallery and Yale Center for British Art both recently opened their doors to visitors after being closed for many months due to the pandemic.
In addition to both being free and open to the public, both also offer free membership which includes discounted parking and complimentary admission to over 80 museums participating in the College and University Art Museums Reciprocal Program.
Yale University Art Gallery
The Yale University Art Gallery has resumed its regular hours and announced three new exhibits (going on now through June/July), plus two upcoming exhibits (scheduled to run September 2022 – January 2023).
Yale Center for British Art
The Yale Center for British Art is currently open Friday through Sunday and has two exhibits running, Bridget Riley (through July 24) and Britain in the World (through December 31). The Center also offers “at home” virtual talks and will launch three new exhibits between May and November.
