As YC&E’s Assistant Director of Events, Megan leads client development, relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives. She oversees department events, conferences, and programs, managing budgets, vendor negotiations, and on-site coordination. Megan also collaborates with YC&E leadership to drive long-term departmental growth and development while overseeing the events team and supporting the recruitment, hiring, and training of interns.
Megan has a bachelor’s degree in management from Central Connecticut State University and was born and raised in Branford, CT. Her favorite event to manage is Bulldog Days, her favorite restaurant in New Haven is Barcelona, and she hopes to someday go to an elephant sanctuary with her husband, Andrew. Megan spent 13 years coaching the Branford High School Dance Team and 5 assisting at her alma mater, CCSU.
Megan is a certified Event DEI Strategist.
