Director’s Note
Hi friends,
As summer comes to a close, I’m grateful to reflect on an exceptional season at Yale. Between commencement, reunions, and 76 summer programs (40 of which were internal), we welcomed more than 10,400 guests from around the world and right here in New Haven. Our activities spanned 12 residential colleges, Old Campus, and 9 dining halls, continuing Yale’s mission to make the most of our campus in the summer months while strengthening our commitment to education and community. As we turn the page to the academic year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all first-year and returning students. Your energy and enthusiasm breathe new life into our campus each fall, and we look forward to the year ahead.
This season also brings bittersweet goodbyes. Please join me in wishing Samantha Iucci the very best as she transitions to her new role with Yale Investments. Sam has been an incredible colleague and will be greatly missed. We also send our thanks and congratulations to our interns, Ella Marzec and Olivia Toto, as they wrap up their time with YC&E and move on to exciting next steps.
Wishing you a meaningful and enriching fall semester ahead!
Best wishes,
Jennifer Zuccaro
