Yale hosts 76th annual meeting of the Metaphysical Society

From March 19-21, Yale hosted the 76th Annual Meeting of the Metaphysical Society of America across the Humanities Quadrangle (HQ) and the Greenberg Conference Center (GCC). The conference’s daily sessions took place in HQ auditoriums, beginning with an opening reception on Thursday evening in HQ 134.

The meeting concluded with a closing banquet at the Greenberg Conference Center, catered by Yale Catering—an opportunity for participants to continue conversations from the sessions in a celebratory setting.

The Annual Meeting rotates among host sites each year, and it was especially meaningful to welcome the Society to Yale, where the Metaphysical Society of America was first founded in 1950 by Yale philosophy professor Paul Weiss.

Yale Conferences & Events was pleased to support the program through coordination of:

  • Event management and planning support
  • Room reservation
  • Catering coordination
  • Facilities work requests
  • AV support
  • On-site staffing
