Connecting scholars: MMUF Fellows convene at Yale

On March 7, Yale welcomed students from across the Northeast to the Greenberg Conference Center for the Yale College Writing and Research Symposium, a one-day undergraduate convening for consortium members of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) Program.

The symposium brought together Yale students and MMUF fellows from Amherst College, Bowdoin College, Connecticut College, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Smith College, Wesleyan University, and Williams College. Throughout the day, participants shared works-in-progress, discussed research questions and methods, and received constructive feedback from peers who are similarly engaged in intensive undergraduate research. The event created an energizing space for intellectual exchange and community-building, connecting students across institutions while strengthening the culture of mentorship and scholarly collaboration that the MMUF program supports.
