Director’s Note

Hello friends, 
 
Summer is in full swing on campus, and we’re thrilled to welcome all the summer programs to Yale! 
 
We’re also excited to introduce Macy Husted, our new Program Operations Manager! Macy brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role, and we’re delighted to have her join our team. 
 
In other exciting news, Kline 14 has been nominated for the 2024 Planner’s Choice Award for Venue with a Scenic Backdrop! We’d greatly appreciate your support in this contest to help us showcase this exceptional Yale venue. For details on how to vote, see below. 
 
Please note that the Greenberg Conference Center will be closed for maintenance throughout July. We appreciate your understanding as we make improvements to our facilities. 
 
Finally, there will be no newsletter in July, but I look forward to reconnecting with you in August with more updates.

International University Leaders Convene at Yale to Address Global Challenges

Presidents and senior officers from eleven prestigious universities gathered at Yale University earlier this month for the International Alliance of Research Universities meeting. This alliance, comprising leading research institutions from nine countries, aims to foster collaborative initiatives, enhance opportunities for university students and staff, and tackle significant global challenges.
 

Global Experts Gather for Major Baltic Studies Conference 

 
Hundreds of scholars and experts dedicated to Baltic studies convened at Yale University from June 13 to June 16 for the 29th biennial conference of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS). Co-hosted by Yale University and the University of New Haven, the conference featured panels from all fields of the humanities and social sciences, education, technology, transnational security, safety, and well-being.
 
 
 

Yale Unites Industry Leaders at Landmark Innovation Summit

 
Yale recently hosted the 10th Yale Innovation Summit, Connecticut’s largest entrepreneurship event. The two-day event brought together innovators, investors, and entrepreneurs from across the northeast for impactful conversations and networking.

Another fabulous Yale School of Medicine Reunion Weekend in the books! YC&E had the honor of assisting with this year’s reunions, where alumni from across the country gathered on the School of Medicine campus for two days of celebrations with their former classmates.
