Event Description: 
Over the course of a two-day conference, “key business, political and diplomatic leaders” gathered at various locations all over Yale’s campus. The Yale community gathered to attend five sessions discussing “the future of energy; the role of the private sector; state, city and international efforts; bipartisan U.S. leadership; and citizen engagement and activism. Former Secretary of State John Kerry moderated several discussions with various VIP guests including Ms. Heather Zichal, Airbnb, Former Climate and Energy Advisor to President Obama, Dr. Jim Kim, President of the World Bank, and Leonardo DiCaprio, United Nations Messenger of Peace for Climate.

Scope of Work: 

• Coordinated hotel accommodations for VIP guests
• Organized event registration and ticketing for each session of conference
• Produced event signage to ensure proper identification of various event sites
• Implemented custom mobile app to provide updates and information of conference
• Arranged ground transportation and speaker travel to ensure timely arrivals of those involved
• Reserved respective spaces for all five sessions of conference
• A/V coordination for effective operations
• Arranged food and beverage through Marcia Selden Catering, Union League Café, and The Study at Yale
• Facilitated volunteer and staff coordination
• Collaborated with Yale PD to ensure event security
• Created welcome bags for VIP guests
