The Emotion Revolution Summit engaged high school students, their parents, educators, policymakers, and advocates in panel discussions, workshops, and remarks from the Life is Good Company Co-Founder, Bert Jacobs; Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, Carmen Farina; and Lady Gaga. The day aimed to start conversations about how young people can lead happier, healthier, productive lives as well as how to create more positive school and academic climates.

Scope of Work: 
  • Organized online registration with different levels of access for nearly 400 attendees who were able to participate in different workshops and panels, thus customizing their experience
  • Booked travel and transportation for attendees, including organizing hotel blocks 
  • Arranged food and beverage through School of Management catering, including a VIP lunch that took place for Lady Gaga, her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, board members, and others
  • Coordinated with Yale Police Department and Security to arrange the proper amount of supervision for the high profile event
  • Partnered with vendors and sponsors such as Facebook, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Microsoft, Mattel, Life is Good, HopeLab, WWE, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Flawless Foundation, and the Faas Foundation to organize gift bags for guests
  • Onsite coordination, including set up/breakdown
  • Worked alongside School of Management and the Emotion Revolution staff throughout
