Event Description: 
50WomenAtYale150, is a yearlong commemoration that celebrates fifty (50) years of women studying in Yale University’s undergraduate programs and one-hundred and fifty (150) years of women studying in Yale University’s graduate programs. This celebration began in September of 2019 and continues through November 2020. The commemoration is celebrated with a host of lectures, exhibitions and performances throughout the academic year to showcase the history of women at Yale.

Various- Rose Alumnae House, Sprague Hall, Yale Law School, Yale University Art Gallery, Sterling Memorial Library, Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona Hall, Yale Law School, President’s House, Yale Center for British Art, and a stone dedication on Old Campus.

Scope of Work: 

• Organized registration for over 400 attendees, who participated in a variety of tours, exhibits and panels to further immerse the participants in the rich history of women’s education at Yale
• Arranged food and beverages throughout the Rose Alumni House, where participants can relax and catch up with former classmates
• Coordinated with the Yale Police Department and Security to arrange for a safe and engaging event for participants
• Booked travel and transportation for attendees, including organizing hotel blocks
• Organized historical events such as the unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Stone by Yale’s President Peter Salovey
• Onsite coordination such as the setup of materials and breakdown
• Worked alongside the Yale Hospitality staff throughout the weekend to provide exceptional meals for the attendees and their guests
